Oh, how we've grown!

It has been brought to my attention that our family would like to see more pictures of H&H.  I'm really slacking these days with updating the blog.  Mark and I keep joking that we can't imagine what in the world could be keeping us busy these days! Ha!  Truth is, we are really having a lot of fun with these two sweet peas.  Their little personalities are really starting to develop and it's so much fun to watch.  But, oh my gosh are we tired!  When the twins ever slow down long enough to nap or sleep, you can bet that we are napping and sleeping as well.

Henry's little surgical procedure that he had a few weeks ago went great.  In fact, he didn't even act like it bothered him at all!  He's truly the toughest little guy I've ever seen, and he's growing by leaps and bounds.  He now weighs 12 pounds 4 ounces!!  He loves his mommy.  We have been to Memphis twice this week for more doctor visits.  I am so proud to say that we were able to see a new pulmonologist.  We finally feel like we have a game plan as far as his health goes.  It seems that his lungs have slightly improved since he left the NICU.  Praise be to God!  We were also able to cut the dosage of his medicine in half.  However, we may have to go back to the full dose because Mark and I both feel like he has not been himself since we changed it.  I am also thrilled to say that we will not have to go back to Memphis for an entire month.  That may not seem very long to some, but to us, that seems like an eternity, and we'll take it!

Harper girl is just the sweetest, easiest baby ever.  I'm not sure when our little sassy pants mellowed out, but she is honestly so easy.  She rarely cries, and sleeps like, well, not a baby, ha, thats for sure.  She just adores Henry and her daddy.  It's so cute, when Henry is crying or having a fit, Harper gets this little look on her face like she wants to say, "Look at me!! I'm not crying!!"  It's precious and mischievous all at the same time.  She's also a little less serious these days.  She's starting to smile more and more.  When she smiles it's almost like she gets teased.  I'm just crazy about this sweet girl.  She now weighs 10 pounds!!!  She had her 4 month shots last week and did great.

I am trying to figure out how to upload videos on this blog.  We have some really cute ones of the twins that I'm dying to share.  Until then, here are some pictures from the past few weeks.

We ask that you keep sweet Henry in your prayers this coming week.  We start his 4 month shots on Monday.  I say start, because our pediatrician and our NICU doctors have come up with a plan to stretch out these shots over the next three weeks.  They, and we, are hoping that by doing this, he won't react as poorly to this round as he did the last.  His 2 month shots just about killed him.  Literally.  So, needless to say, I am very nervous about the next few weeks ahead.

Also, for all of you wonderful prayer warriors.  My sweet family has been so blessed and humbled by so many of you, and I can't begin to thank you enough.  That said, I would like to humbly as for your prayers for a family that I don't even know.  The only thing I know about this family is that they are from my hometown, and they have a faith in God that is truly inspiring.  This week on Facebook, I read about the Scott family and their precious little blonde haired baby girl named Tessa.  I do not know this little girl, but for some reason her picture just broke my heart.  I guess, in a way, I envisioned my sweet Harper each time I looked at her face.  Tessa went to be with Jesus this week.  Her family had to watch as the doctors turned off the machines that kept her alive.  I'm just asking that you please keep the Scott family in your prayers.  I can't possibly know what losing a child feels like.  I can only imagine, and each time I do, my heart aches.  Please pray for peace and comfort for this precious family.
